HOW IT ALL STARTED
In 2021, Charlie Sprinkman had reached visiting 47 of the 50 states. He kept asking the same question: where are the queer spaces? The answer was always a shrug, a Google spiral, or a lucky stumble.
Charlie did what any reasonable person does when they can't find what they need, they built it. What started as a simple map of LGBTQ+-owned businesses has grown into a global community platform with over 23,000 listings globally.
Everywhere Is Queer exists to make the world feel a little less big and a lot more like home - no matter where you are.

Everywhere Is Queer is the world's largest map of LGBTQ+-owned businesses and queer-affirming spaces. We're a free, community-powered directory that helps queer people find their people - whether they're traveling, moving, or just want to spend their money with intention.
We're not just a map. We're a movement. EIQ amplifies queer voices, supports queer entrepreneurs, and shows the world that queer community exists everywhere - you just need the right tool to find it.
We're also deeply committed to making sure EIQ is built by the community, for the community - not a corporate product with a rainbow slapped on it in June.

ABOUT CHARLIE
(he/him)
Charlie Sprinkman is the founder of Everywhere Is Queer and a queer entrepreneur, speaker, and community builder based in Brooklyn, New York. He started EIQ in 2022 after realizing there was no good way to find queer-owned businesses while traveling, so he made one.
Since then, Charlie has been featured in NBC News, NPR, Mashable, theSkimm, iHeart, and over 20 podcasts, spoken at events across the country, and built one of the most recognizable queer business directories in the world.
When not mapping the queer world, Charlie can be found talking loudly about allyship, spending money at queer-owned businesses, and being a loud and proud Sagittarius.
