Soma Lumin was born at the intersection of curiosity, embodiment, and access a place where intuition, technology, and the nervous system meet. Founded by Summer Ray, a software developer and experiential artist, the work began as a deeply personal exploration of how we visualize energetic and emotional states. What started as in-person aura imaging experiences at festivals and wellness gatherings quickly revealed both their power and their limits. While people felt seen and moved, access remained a barrier, not everyone could travel, afford exclusive wellness spaces, or safely attend mask-free events. From that tension, Soma Lumin expanded with intention, offering remote aura imaging sessions accessible from anywhere. Today, it continues to grow as both a practice and a platform, centered on accessibility, care, and queer-led innovation.
